Otis Fuller Sr.

Otis King Fuller, Sr. passed away on February 12, 2014. He was born in Helotes, TX, on March 10, 1928, to King M. and Otillia (Braurchle) Fuller. He attended Texas A&M University and was a member of Texas A&M Corps of Cadets. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of WWII. He married Billie Sue McKnight on August 8, 1952, in Beeville, TX. They were life mates, laugh mates and soul mates. He was a member of First Baptist Church and lifetime member of C.C.A. He was the owner of Fuller Tractor Company and a long time farm equipment dealer. Otis was the inventor of many farming and brush management techniques. He was known throughout Texas and the farming world for his designs and precision planters. He also was an amazing golfer, fisherman, all-around athlete and, most importantly, a man who loved and adored his family. He touched the lives of everyone he met and will be missed by the family and friends who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Billie Sue Fuller of Beeville; daughter, Cindee (Dan) Moore of George West; son, King (Mona) Fuller of Beeville; grandchildren, Jillian (Chris) Cline, Janelle (Jeff) Park, Whitney Fuller, Trey Fuller, Martha (Tim) Liner, Madeleine Bell and Mary Wade Bell; and great-grandchildren, Jaden Park and Addisyn Cline. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2014, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Traylor and Rev. Homer Hanna officiating. Interment followed at Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Jack Bond, Johnnie Bond, Dennis Clark, Chris Cline, Bob May, Donnie Morris, Jeff Park and Edward Wicker. Honorary pallbearers were James Brooke, Viggo Gruy, Ike Houdmann, Alex Kibler and Jim Turnbow.
