Otto Huebotter

Otto Harold Huebotter, 82, of Three Rivers, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013. Mr. Huebotter was born to Henry Huebotter and Grace Delmater Huebotter in La Vernia on June 24, 1931. He married Oleta Joy Neff in Laredo on Dec. 26, 1952, and was a craftsman. He was a Baptist and enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Harold Huebotter Jr.; and three brothers, Donald, Chester and Lester Huebotter. Survivors include his wife, Oleta Joy Huebotter; five children, Harvey, Louise, Debra, Brenda and William "Billy"; 12 grandchildren including Brandy and Peyton; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Freddie (Janell) Huebotter; and two sisters, Ella Rathke and Angela Dailey. Visitation was held on Monday, Dec. 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel in Three Rivers. The funeral service was conducted there at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, with Rev. Lyn Means officiating. Burial followed in Three Rivers Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Rathke, Scott Hicks, Ricky Prather, Jim Neff and Brandy Schanfish.
