Pablo Valadez

Pablo Valadez, 90, of George West, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the Live Oak Nursing Center surrounded by his family.

Pablo was born February 4, 1934 in Beeville to Jose P. Valadez and Maria (Escarcega) Valadez. He was a member of St. George Catholic Church and dedicated numerous years as a skilled heavy equipment operator. He loved dancing and often entertained family and friends with his accordion playing. He enjoyed the outdoors raising cattle and horses and found great joy in driving tractors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Maria Valadez; his companion, Christina Ordonez; a daughter, Maria Silvia Cabrera; and four sisters and four brothers.

Left behind to cherish fond memories include a son, Pablo (Enedina) Valadez Jr. of George West; two daughters, Maria Esmeralda (Rodolfo Resendez) Gonzales of San Antonio and Rosa Maria (Adolio) Guajardo of George West; two brothers and three sisters; and 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 30, St. George Catholic Church with a Holy Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. Father Romeo Salinas will officiate.

Burial of cremains will follow at 11:30 a.m. at George West Cemetery.
