Patricia Luna

Patricia Mae Luna, 77, went home to her Lord on November 29, 2015. She was born on November 29, 1938, to Walter and Thelma Baskin Chesshir in Beeville. She married Max Luna on May 30, 1958. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, as well as the St. Peregrine Society of St. Joseph. She was also a former Pink Lady at Christus Spohn Hospital in Beeville. She was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Max Luna; her parents; and a sister, Mary Carter. She is survived by her son, Mitchell Luna and wife, Judy; her daughter, Stephanie Luna-Griggs of San Antonio; beloved grandchildren, Ryan O'Donnell (Matt), Ashley Luna (Jake), Samantha Griggs and Sydney Griggs; and two beloved great-grandchildren, Madison Dixon and Baby O'Donnell. She is also survived by three brothers, Walter Chesshir and wife, Edith of Jourdanton, John Chesshir and wife, Charlene of Corpus Christi and Kenneth Chesshir and wife, Barbara of Beeville. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel in Beeville, followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Beeville. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park Cemetery in Beeville. Pallbearers will be Jake Dixon, Ashley Luna, Ryan O'Donnell, Matt O'Donnell, Samantha Griggs, Sydney Griggs, John Chesshir, Walter Chesshir, Kenneth Chesshir and Dick Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be John Kircher, Bill Shroyer, Jim Scotten and Pat Kelly.
