Paul Treptow, Jr.

Paul W. Treptow Jr., 94, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017.

Mr. Treptow was the son of Paul and Elizabeth Treptow of Beeville, Texas.

He is survived by his son, Max Treptow, son Ben Treptow and wife Sandee and their daughter, Heather Treptow; daughter-in-law, MariEllen Treptow; grandchildren, Jessica Babich and her husband Bojan, Sarah Reeves and her husband Johnny; one great-grandchild, Brody Reeves; and his friends, Allene Dyer and Mary Wright.

He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Jacquelyn E. Treptow; his eldest son, Paul Treptow III; and granddaughter, Rachel Treptow.

He lived in Kingsville, Texas most of his adult life. He graduated with a Bachelors in Physics and Masters of Science from Texas A&I University-Kingsville and had his Professional Engineers License. He served as an Elder at First Presbyterian Church in Kingsville.

Paul served as an officer in the Air Force in WWII as a navigator. He retired from the Air Force Reserves after 18 years with the rank of Major.

He taught engineering at Texas A&I for 32 years; was director of communications for the Civil Air Patrol Texas Wing, an auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force; was a rancher and farmer and had an interest in birding. He volunteered with the Boy Scouts as a docent at the Railroad Depot in Kingsville.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Jan. 20, 2018, at Glenwood Cemetery in Beeville.
