Pauline Valencia

Pauline (Moya) Valencia, 75, of Beeville, died Sunday, May 3, 2015. Mrs. Valencia was born Jan. 26, 1940, in Berclair to Amelia (Salazar) and Serapio Moya. She married Ernesto G. Valencia in Beeville on April 5, 1961, and was a medication aide by profession and a Christian. She enjoyed cooking and writing in her journal. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband on July 16, 2013. Survivors include six children, Rachel (Rufino) Martinez, Billie (Felix) Luna, Ricky (Mary Jane Cavazos) Valencia, Robert (Rosie) Valencia, David (Sandy) Valencia and Robert (Alicia) Rangel, all of Beeville; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Janie Bartlett and Virginia Garcia, both of Beeville. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 6, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held there that evening at 7 o'clock with New Life Church Pastor Jesse Berthold officiating. The funeral service will be conducted at New Hope Christian Church Thursday, May 7, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Salvador Rincon Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be David Valencia, Robert Valencia, John Bartlett, Andrew Bartlett, Robert Trevino and Robert Rangel. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
