Quency Davis

Quency Marie Davis, 92, passed away on October 19, 2015. She was born on October 10, 1923 to Henry and Mary Lee (Robinson) Tolliver in Goliad, Texas. She married Easterling Davis on July 5, 1947. Mrs. Davis was a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church in Beeville. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband; son, Henry Davis, and daughter, Alice Morris. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Hinderman of Pomona, California and Easterling Davis, Jr. of Austin; 5 grandchildren, Terry Hartsfield of Dallas, Lynn Hartsfield of Beeville, Mariana Casarez of Beeville, Elaine Davis Thorton, and Easterling Davis, III, of Austin; 2 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, nieces, Ann Langley, Betty Cunningham, Dafny Scott, and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Oliver Greer officiating. Interment will follow at St. Rose Cemetery.
