Rachel Rodriguez

Rachael (Garcia) Rodriguez, 45, of Beeville, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Mrs. Rodriguez was born March 3, 1966, in Memphis, Texas to Delia (Encinia) and George Martinez. She married Reynaldo Rodriguez in Mathis in September 1982, and was a phlebotomist for Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and was involved with Relay For Life and the American Heart Association. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Francisco and Josephina Encinia. Survivors include her husband, Reynaldo "Rey" Rodriguez of Beeville; two daughters, Elizabeth Rae Garza of Corpus Christi and Heather Rae Rodriguez of Beeville; a son, Reynaldo R. Rodriguez Jr. of Beeville; five sisters, Rose Garcia of Odem, Romelia Rosales, Rita (Willie) Pe�a and Rebecca (David) Pe�a, all of Edroy, and Jennifer Martinez of Kingsville; a brother, George Martinez of Edroy; her parents, George and Delia Martinez of Edroy; and one grandson, Jackson Rey Rodriguez of Beeville. Visitation was held Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Galloway & Sons chapel. A rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass was celebrated at St. James Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Friday with Rev. Lukose Thirunelliparambil officiating. Burial followed in Beeville Memorial Park.
