Radie Robinson

Radie (Barefield) Robinson, 76, of Beeville, died Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Mrs. Robinson was born Jan. 26, 1941, in Long Mott to Raymond and Earleen Gladney Barefield. She married Jesse Robinson in Beeville on June 13, 1961, and was a cosmetologist and a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Dorothy Clay, Leola Hall, Ora Williams and Dora Hickman; two brothers, Lawrence Kelly Barefield and Dennis Barefield; and a son, Jeffrey Lee Robinson. Survivors include her husband, Jesse Robinson of Beeville; two daughters, Lisa Robinson (Floyd) Sanford of Richmond and Elaine Parker of San Antonio; two sons, Ronald (Veronica) Barefield of Beeville and Rodney (Anastasia) Robinson of Victoria; a brother, Bobby (Ollie) Barefield; eight grandchildren, Trey Hamilton, Ronald Barefield Jr., Jessica Robinson, Rayonna Robinson, Shundrika Robinson, Tashina Johnson, Destiny Robinson and Ashton Casarez Robinson; five great-grandchildren; and in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 31, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1, at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Dean Fleming officiating. Burial will follow at St. Rose Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Robinson, David Robinson, Michael Robinson, Sidney Robinson, Bobby Robinson and Johnathan Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Leonard Robinson, Ronald Barefield Jr. Robert Robinson, Edward Robinson Jr., Bobby Barefield, Bobby Grant Barefield and Trey Hamilton.
