Ramona Garza

Ramona Garza, 86, passed away October 30, 2015. She was born on March 8, 1929 to Simon and Juana (Reyes) Reyna in Clegg, Texas. She married Alfredo Garza on August 30, 1946. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church and was a business owner and rancher. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Alfredo Garza, Jr.; and sisters, Hortencia Chavez, and Emilia Guerra. She is survived by her children, Emilio Garza, Hilda (John) Reyes, and Cruz (Barbara) Garza; grandchildren, Andrew "Andy" J. Garza, Troy Lee Garza, Veronica Sue Reyes, Melissa Lee Reyes, John Michael Reyes, Gilda Michelle Reyes, Anthony Carlos Garza, Gerald Marcus Garza, Brian Alexander Garza, John Philip Garza, and Lisa Bianca Garza; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; sister, Natividad Ybanez; brothers, Simon Reyna, Jr., Guadalupe Reyna; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West with a rosary recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015 at St. George Catholic Church. Interment will follow at George West Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andrew Garza, Troy Garza, Carlos Garza, Brian Garza, Gerald Garza, Philip Garza, and Michael Reyes.
