Randall Stephenson

Randall Keith "Randy" Stephenson, 48, passed away on February 5, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on August 17, 1967 in Baytown, Texas to Eugene Stephenson, Jr. and Georgia Hanus. He married Kathy Overby who preceded him in death on June 7, 2009. Randy lived in Beeville most of his life. He was a welder and had worked TDCJ. He was very good at pencil drawing sketches. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene and Mary Jane Stephenson, Sr. and George and Annie Hanus. He is survived by his father, Gene Stephenson of Beeville; mother, Georgia Hanus Gabriel of Baytown; stepdad, Clyde Gabriel; sister, Cynthia Clements of Pearland; stepson, Michael (Stephanie) Overby of Beeville; stepdaughter, Amy (Reagan) Mortensen of Skidmore; nieces, Kirsten Dixon and Karli Clements; 3 step-grandchildren, Cianna Overby, Zachary Mortensen, and Mathieu Mortensen; great nephew, Gavin and great nieces, Makayla and Brynlee; special cousins including Terri Sparks, Christie Quijano, and Robby Stephenson and many special friends. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Muehl officiating. Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
