Retha Rodgers

Kennie Lynn Rodgers, 53, and Retha Ann Rodgers, 49, of Tuleta died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011. Mr. Rodgers was born Sept. 23, 1958, in Robstown to Thelma and Eli Rodgers. Mrs. Rodgers was born Aug. 20, 1962, in Beeville to John and Shirley Lee. They married on May 31, 1980. Mr. Rodgers owned Rodgers Gauging Service. Mrs. Rodgers worked for Pettus ISD for many years. They spent much of their time at their residence with family and friends. They were preceded in death by Mr. Rodgers' parents; and Mrs. Rodgers' brother, John Britt. Survivors include a daughter, Reshay Rodgers; a granddaughter, Layel Lowe; a son, Ryan (Kristi) Rodgers; Mr. Rodgers' brother, Robert Rodgers; and Mrs. Rodgers' brother, Dale Lee.
