New BNew Braunfels, TX formerly of Beeville, TX Ronald Wayne Coldeway, 66, passed away on July 19, 2012. He was born on September 13, 1945 in Houston, TX to Otis and Etelka (Nowotny) Coldeway. Ron grew up in New Braunfels, TX. He served in the U.S. Navy and Texas DPS before moving to Beeville, TX in 1969. While in Beeville he was a member of Rotary, a past president of the Western Week Committee, and an active "Go Texan" member. He retired in New Braunfels in 2006 where he was an active member in the Elks, serving as the Exalted Ruler in 2009 and 2010. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Debbie Coldeway who resides in New Braunfels, TX; son, Justin (Shannon) Coldeway of Fulshear, TX; daughter, Kristen (Clyde) Evons of Katy, TX; five grandchildren, Hudson Wallace, Peyton Russell, Mayson Russell, Davis Coldeway and Reese Coldeway.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Elks Lodge in New Braunfels, TX. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Beeville Memorial Park. He served in the U.S. Navy and was retired from Department of Public Safety. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Coldeway of New Braunfels, TX; son, Justin (Shannon) Coldeway of Fulshear, TX; daughter, Kristen (Clyde) Evons of Katy, TX; five grandchildren, Hudson Wallace, Peyton Russell, Mayson Russell, Reese Coldeway and Davis Coldeway. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Elks Lodge in New Braunfels, TX. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Beeville Memorial Park.
