Rose Rhodes

Rose Marie (Parrish) Rhodes, 73, of Cisco, formerly of Beeville, died Sunday, July 3, 2011. Mrs. Rhodes was born April 21, 1938, in Ohio, to James Parrish. She married Joseph Rhodes and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Austin Reynolds. Survivors include her husband, Joseph M. Rhodes of Cisco, formerly of Beeville; two sons, Patrick Reynolds of Schertz and William (RuthAnn) Rhodes of Abilene; five daughters, Cynthia Reynolds (Bill Jr.) Finch of Gonzales, Deborah Reynolds Rush of Alvin, Janet Arleen Reynolds of Beeville, Christiana Rhodes (Brad) Fleming of Abilene and Tammy Reynolds of Beeville; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted there in tandem with the visitation at 1 o'clock. Musical selections will include "Amazing Grace" on the fiddle by Bill Finch Jr. Pallbearers will be William Rhodes, Billy Finch III, Christopher Wills, Phillip Rush, Steven Rosenbaum and Travis Sherrell.
