Ruby Hanson

Ruby Marie Hanson, 82, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020.

Ruby was born October 22, 1937 in Crook, Colorado to Harold and Ethel (Harms) Lambert. She married Lowell Hanson on November 22, 1957 in Loveland, Colorado. They resided in Colorado and moved to Texas in 1973. She loved her family, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and her great-great-grandchildren, and she prayed over them every day. She taught herself how to play the piano and she loved playing hymns on the piano.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ethel Lambert; and her husband, Lowell.

Survivors include her daughters, Chari (Russell) Lambert of Dailey, Colorado and Rhonda (John) Snipes of Lakehills, Texas; a son, Robert (Karen) Hanson of Rosenberg, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel followed by a funeral service at 10 o’clock. Burial will be at Beeville Memorial Park.
