Sarah Toth

Sarah Agnes Toth, 92, went home to her Lord on June 26, 2016. She was born on May 12, 1924 to Georgia (Willingham) and J.T. Wheeler in Tuscumbia, Alabama. She married Charles Francis Toth on June 6, 1943 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church and a resident of George West for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, Charles Toth; daughters, Rose Ann and Teresa Toth and sister, Alma Wheeler. She is survived by her two daughters, Georgia (Andy) Terry of Boerne and Margaret (Wayne) Cockroft of Victoria; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Toby Whidden of George West; brother, Bud Wheeler of George West; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West with a rosary recited there that evening at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at St. George Catholic Church in George West. Interment will follow at George West Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Wheeler, Michael Whidden, Chuck Terry, Jimmy Cockroft, Timothy Cockroft and Wesley Burns. Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Cockroft, Brian Rhodes, Gary Whidden and Jeff Wheeler.
