Serenity Hasette

Serenity Lynn Hasette, 5, of George West, died Monday, Dec. 14, 2015. Miss Hasette was born June 7, 2010, to Cordero and Cynthia Castro Hasette in Jourdanton. She was preceded in death by two great-grandfathers, Hijinio Gutierrez, Jr, and Robert V. Dominquez; two great-grandparents, Esia and Aurroa Hasette; and a great-great-grandfather, Gonzalo Pena. Survivors include her parents of George West; two sisters, Sophia Rose Hasette and Scarlett Jean Hasette; two grandparents, JoAnn Hasette and Carmen and Felix Castro, Jr; two great-grandmothers, Josephina Gutierrez, and Mary Dominguez, and a great-great-grandmother, Garbillia Pena. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, at Galloway & Sons chapel in George West. A prayer service will be held there at 5 o'clock that evening. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, at George West Cemetery with Brother Bobby Lewis officiating. Active pallbearers will be Cordero Hasette, Felix Castro, Jr, Felix Castro, III, and Cody Bulsterbaum. Honorary pallbearer will be Chris Bray.
