Sharon Ann Villanueva, 71, Beloved mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother went peacefully home to be with her Heavenly Father and her loved ones who have prepared a place for her, on November 5, 2013. Sharon Ann was born on May 25, 1942 in Glendale, CA. She was the first of two children to Merton and Hazel Stevens of Los Angeles, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; Merton Millard Stevens and Hazel Amelia (Merchant) Stevens, her aunt Elsie Merchant and uncle Keith Merchant, and her nephew Eric Stevens. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Domingo Villanueva of Three Rivers, TX, daughter Ellen Drummon (Bryan) of Cleveland, OK, daughter Larissa Sotelo (Michael) of Adelanto, CA, daughter Amanda Romo (Tazs) of Three Rivers, TX, brother Dale Stevens (Jeanne) of Granada Hills, CA, six loving grandchildren Ashlee Romo, Adeline Drummon, Hannah Panuco, Harley Romo, Dalton Romo, and Eric Sotelo. Sharon Ann graduated from Eagle Rock High School in Los Angeles, CA during the summer of 1960. There she made many life long friends including her Best Friend Wilma Cloys. Upon graduation she attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA were she received an Associate Arts degree in Accounting. Sharon Ann and Domingo were married July 3, 1966 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They lived in West Covina, CA for many years. Sharon Ann worked for LAC/USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA for many years in Patient Financial Services. She retired in 1999. She enjoyed many hobbies but her favorite by far was to crochet where she made many wonderful blankets for all the new additions to her growing family. Sharon Ann and Domingo moved to Three Rivers, TX in December of 2008. They have many family members and loved one all around Texas including George West, Three Rivers, and Pawnee as Domingo Villanueva was born and raised there. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary Post 6119 of Live Oak County and held the position of trustee. She met many wonderful ladies through this organization. The family wishes to thank all the caregivers, therapists and staff of Exclusive Home Health, Live Oak Nursing Center, and the Cancer Care Center of Texas for all the loving and support the bestowed upon our wife, mother and grandmother. Our personal thanks to Wayne, Heather, Selena, and Dot of Exclusive Home Health for making her feel all your loving care and comforting words during her time with us all. We all will never forget how special you made her feel. Viewing Services will be held at Galloway and Sons of Three Rivers, Texas on Friday, November 8, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Three Rivers, Texas with Reverend Valli Blair officiating. Services will conclude at First United Methodist Church. Pallbearers were her nephews: Christopher Alaniz, Esteban Alaniz Jr., Luis Ponce Jr., Johnny Ponce, Buddy Villanueva, Richard Rodriguez, Ray Warren, and Mark Garcia.
