Simon Leon

Simon De Leon Jr., 88, of Three Rivers and Pawnee died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014. Mr. DeLeon was born Sept. 2, 1925, in Bee County to Simon Sr. and Rojelia Ramos DeLeon. He worked as a farm hand. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include two sisters, Adelfa (Eleno) Duenes and Aurora (Adolfo) Trevino, both of Pawnee; three brothers, Reynaldo DeLeon of Kyle, Domingo (Juanita) DeLeon and Juan (Lupe) DeLeon, both of Pawnee; a son, Arturo "Lupe" DeLeon of Hobson; one grandchild, Ashley DeLeon; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A memorial service is planned for a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Galloway & Sons Funeral Home.
