Steven Schmidt

Steven A Schmidt 58 of Whitsett, Texas passed away on March 6, 2013. Steven was born on December 8, 1954 to Maurice P. Schmidt and Dorothy Barganski Schmidt in Taft, Texas. He graduated high school and married Gloria Ruiz on October 10, 1988 in Three Rivers, Texas. Steven is survived by his wife Gloria Schmidt of Whitsett, Texas, children Chance Schmidt and his wife Mistan of Victoria, Jacob Schmidt and his wife Nickie Shannon of Whitsett, Benjamin Hinojosa and his wife Melissa of Pipe Creek, Londie Ruiz and his wife Krystal of Three Rivers, Jolene Zamzow and her husband Phillip of Three Rivers, Jamie Zuidmulder and her husband Mark of Killeen, grandchildren Paxton Schmidt, Lyla Schmidt, Corbin Zamzow, Zabeal Zuidmulder, Jagur Zuidmulder, Melia Hinojosa, and Kelsie Ruiz. He is also survived by his brother Pete Schmidt and his wife Belinda of Asherton, sister Nanette Musgrove of Franklin, Tennessee and numerous friends and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Jennifer Schmidt and son Chad Schmidt. Graveside services will be held on March 9, 2013 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Whitsett, Texas. Pallbearers are Jack Meeks, Jimmy Mauch, Phil Wright, Ryan Coffey, Jerry Hall, and Tommy Fordyce.
