Terese Simonson

Terese G. Simonson, 89, of Dinero, died Monday, June 22, 2015. Mrs. Simonson was born July 4, 1925, in Iowa, to William and Alice (Murphy) Grady. She was a teacher and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Swinney Switch Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice Grady; her husband, Merle Simonson Sr.; a daughter, Nancy Marita Simonson; a grandson, James Ehrlich; and three sisters and three brothers. Survivors include her sons, Stan, John, James and Joe Simonson; daughters Terri (Clarke) Ehrlich, Jeanene (Jimmie) Jones and Becky Simonson; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Charles Simonson, James Parker, John Simonson, Jay Jones, Jodie Biggs, Daniel Jones and James Simonson. Honorary pallbearer will be Alex Head.
