Theodore Yunis

Theodore "Ted" Edward Yunis, 66, of George West died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014. Mr. Yunis was born April 18, 1948, to Anthony Edward Yunis and Phillis Marie Mussarra Yunis in Cleveland, Ohio. He was in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was also a Merchant Marine, a truck driver for Home Depot for 16 years and a machinist. He married Adelita Zapata on May 22, 1988, in Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ray Yunis. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Bradley Yunis, Brian Yunis and James Yunis, all of Arizona; a daughter, Carrie Pancost of Arizona; brothers, Tom Yunis and Allan Yunis; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
