Thomas Strauch

Thomas "Tom" Strauch, 72, of Normanna, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2014. Mr. Strauch was born Jan. 13, 1942, in Beeville to Belle (Alpers) and Thomas Anthony Strauch. He married Linda Gerhardt on June 9, 1966, and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pettus. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Linda Strauch. Survivors include his wife, Linda Strauch of Normanna; sons, Tom Strauch of Austin, Patrick (Galadriel) Strauch of Pearland and Charles (Patricia) Strauch of Seabrook; four grandchildren; a sister, Mary Strauch of Texas City; a brother, Wade Strauch of Texas City; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation was held Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pettus. The funeral service was conducted there following visitation at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lukose Thirunelliparambil officiating. Services concluded at the church. Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the charity of one's choice.
