Timoteo Briseno, 86, of Three Rivers died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014. Mr. Briseno was born Aug. 22, 1928, to Santos and Isabel Gonzales Briseno in Maynard. He was a self employed painter and devout Catholic. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Alonzo Briseno; a grandson, Joe Hernandez; a granddaughter, Mickie DeLeon; and his brothers and sisters. Survivors include his son, Tim Briseno of Three Rivers; three daughters, Maria Julia (Jerry) Caballero; Velma (Victor) Cardenas; Lupita (Gilberto) DeLaRosa all of Three Rivers; three step sons; Eddie (Catarina) Chabera of San Antonio; Adrian Avila of El Paso; Nelson Briseno of California; one step daughter; Myra Avila of California; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Visitation was held Thursday, Oct. 16, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel in Three Rivers from 11a.m. to 9 p.m. A rosary was recited that same evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Three Rivers with Rev. Ryszard Zielinksi officiating. Burial was at Oakville Cemetery, Oakville. Services entrusted to Galloway and Son's Funeral Home, Three Rivers.
