Tommy Burris

Tommy Burris, 64, of Beeville, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2011. Mr. Burris was born Dec. 30, 1946, in Laredo to Dora (Goff) and Earl Hayes Burris. He married Joye Hoffman in Beeville on June 1, 1969, and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a rancher and a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Joye Burris of Beeville; two sons, Brian (Lydia) Burris of Eagle Pass and Brett (Stefani) Burris of Frisco; three grandchildren, Victor, Lily and Brianna; and two sisters, Rita Burris of Austin and Beth (John) Haney of Duncan, Okla. Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service was conducted Monday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev.
