Thomas Levi Ferguson, Jr., of Beeville passed from this life into his Heavenly home on April 11, 2014 in Floresville.

He was born on January 5, 1928, in Pettus, Texas to Thomas L. Ferguson, Sr. & Opal Mae Stuart.

Thomas served in the Armed Forces during World War II in Darmstadt, Germany as a construction equipment operator.

He was honorably discharged on Jan 21, 1953, as Sergeant Thomas L Ferguson, Jr., and received the Army of Occupation medal and World War II Victory medal.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pearl Pitmon; daughter, Brenda Dailey; and son, Bryan Ferguson.

He is survived by his wife, JoDell Ferguson, of Beeville; son, Jody Ferguson; daughters, Judy Barron and Merabeth Ferguson; daughter-in-law, Diann Ferguson; as well as two step-children, Cathy Cummings and Tommy Gannon; 13 grandchildren, Allison Ferguson, Lindsay Hayward, Billy John & Shaun Barrier, Carrie Richardson, Brandon & Ashley Ferguson, Mandi & Bobby Shelton, Cassi Highlender, Kristen Mitchell, and Magen & Erin Barron; 10 great-grandchildren; one niece; and the loving staff at TSVH-Floresville.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 18, at the Beeville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church School, Beeville or to a charity of your choice.
