Victoria Suniga

Victoria M. Suniga, 68, went to be with her Lord on February 8, 2012. She was born in Beeville, TX, on September 13, 1943, to Pedro Moreno and Emilia Chapa Moreno. She married Rosendo Suniga, and together, they raised their family in Beeville. "Momo" as she was known to her grandchildren was a wonderful cook, and she loved them all so much. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all and will be greatly missed. Victoria worked as a CNA for Hillside Lodge for over 20 years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Emilia Chapa; her husband, Rosendo Suniga; and a brother, Pedro Moreno, Jr. Those left to cherish her memories are her two daughters, Norma "Carol" Hamre and husband Steve of San Antonio, and Gracie Campos and husband Marcos Campos, Jr. of Beeville; four grandchildren, B.J. Arredondo, Nicole Hamre (Danny Danysch), Gary Brandon Hamre, and Adrianna Campos; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Danysch, and Dilynn Danysch; five siblings, Alfredo Chapa and wife Soveida, Macedonia Montez and husband Eduardo, Manuel Moreno and wife Maria, Ruben Moreno, and Gilbert Moreno and wife Sondra, all of Beeville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home from 9 a.m. till 9 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. that same evening. Funeral mass to celebrate Momo's life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be B.J. Arredondo, Gary Brandon Hamre, Eduardo Montez, Jr., Gilbert Moreno II, Michael Rosas, and Marcos Moreno. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Rosas Jr., Danny Danysch, David Chapa, Joe Eduardo Ramos, Robert Benavidez, Jr., and Larry Rosas, IIi. Galloway & Sons Funeral Home
