Virgil Wilkins

Virgil Wilkins, 85, passed away on April 16, 2015. He was born December 25, 1929 in Miranda City, TX to Virgil B. and Ola Mae (McCoy) Wilkins. He served in the United States Army Air Corp. Virgil married Louise Norman on May 21, 1948 in Alamogordo, NM. He was a member of Oakville Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Louise Wilkins of Ray Point, TX; 2 sons, Ronnie (Gayle) Wilkins of Corpus Christi, TX and Mike (Cheri) Wilkins of Three Rivers, TX; 2 daughters, Sharon (David) Renefro of Dallas, TX and Sandra Bibb of Corpus Christi, TX; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 1 brother, Tim (Nancy) Wilkins of Utopia, TX. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Oakville Baptist Church in Oakville, TX. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Tommy Stogner officiating. Interment will follow at Oakville Cemetery in Oakville, TX.
