Wanda Prather

Wanda Louise (Neff) Prather of Victoria, Texas, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, at the age of 75.

Wanda was born January 20, 1947, in Corpus Christi to Amos Winn Neff and Jessie Ozella (Sargent) Neff. She attended Tuloso-Midway High School and married Melvin Prather Sr. on October 19, 1962 celebrating 52 years of a wonderful marriage.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Jessie Neff; her husband, Melvin Leeroy Prather Sr. in 2014; two sons, Melvin Prather Jr. and Roy Glenn Roberts; and four sisters.

Left behind to cherish fond memories include two sons, Scott Prather and Richard Prather; a daughter, Brinda Myers; numerous grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, August 1, at Galloway and Sons Funeral Home in Three Rivers with the funeral service at 6 o’clock that evening. Interment will follow in the Three Rivers Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Prather, Samuel Prather, Logan Prather, Curtis Prather, Lance Prather and Andrew Brieden.
