Werner Benham

Werner E. Benham, 86, passed away on July 8, 2015. He was born January 14, 1929 to James A. (Cleve) and Erna (Franke) Benham in Live Oak County, Texas. He married Betty Haverlah on September 30, 1961 in Karnes City, Texas. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and past president of the Elim Lutheran Church council. He was a farmer and rancher. He is survived by his wife, Betty Benham of Live Oak County, Texas; son, John (Jane) Benham of Wimberly, Texas; grandchildren, Kevin (Emily) Benham of Buda, Texas and Kelli (Ryan) Bills of Dallas, Texas; great grandchildren, Olivia Benham and Alexander Benham; and several cousins. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Three Rivers with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Rev. Norm Sulaica officiating. Interment will follow at Pawnee Cemetery in Pawnee, Texas.
