Zenia Wright

On January 24, 2016 our beloved mother and grandmother, Zenia Frances Wright passed from life to eternal life and is now resting in the arms of her Creator. Zenia was born Zenia France Bumgardner in Waco Texas on August 9, 1926 to parents Harry Theodore Bumgardner and Ella Monroe. She was sixth in line to 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She married Stanley J. Wright on September the 8th 1942, in San Antonio, Texas and lived 63 wonderful years together. She traveled with Stanley throughout his years of military service and as a Professional Golf Pros wife working side by side managing Golf Courses and Country Clubs in Edinburg, Laredo, Robstown, Sinton and where they called home and ended their journey in Beeville, Texas. Many will remember momma as the lovely smile and sweet compassion that greeted them at the Lemon Tree Dress Store in downtown Beeville. Mother had a taste for style and beauty and she knew how to bring it out in others. Though, she will be missed dearly by family and friends we rejoice with her in the celebration of the reunion she is now having in Heaven. Once again, she and our father stand side by side, in the outstretched arms of Christ. Zenia was preceded in death by her father, Harry Theodore Bumgardner and mother, Ella Monroe; father by law, Vernon Wright and mother by law, Mary Ivy Martin; loving husband, Stanley J. Wright; sisters, Eloise Willingham, Lucille Foster, Ethel Perry; and brothers, Harry Theodore Bumgardner, Jr. and James Blake Bumgardner; son, Larry Dean Wright; son-in-law, Donald Ray Selcer and beloved grandson, Brett Huser. Zenia's legacy include daughters, Roxanne Selcer of Friendswood, Texas, Sharon (Dennis) Greenwood of Mathis, Texas and Michelle Wright of Beeville Texas; grandchildren, Tammy (Danny) Bielamowicz of League City, Texas, Jennifer (Robert) Somich of Friendswood, Texas, Brandee (Jay) Rodgers of Houston, Texas, Stephanie (Robert) Adams of Rock Wall, Texas, Desiree (Douglas) Huser, Beeville, Texas, Reyana Hajevandi of Los Angeles, California, Austin (Carrie) Hajevandi of Los Angeles, California, Jeremy Wright of Portland, Oregon and Tracy (Jeremiah) White of Portland, Oregon, twelve great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and her loving sister-in-law and dearest friend, Muriel Bumgardner of Houston, Texas. Visitation will be held at Galloway Funeral Home, Friday, January 29, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Galloway Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Austin Hajevandi, Ryan Shimick, Ty Huser, Cade Adams, and Hunter Bielamowicz.
